Welcome to Orient Islamic School

Orient Islamic School has achieved excellent results over the years with an average pass of 99.5%. In the Senior Certificate examinations, 94% of the learners achieved exemption passes. Orient learners have featured among the top (5) achievers in the independent school’s sector in the KwaZulu-Natal provincial list. The school has developed sterling achievements since 1998 when it became an independent school.

1959 was the year which heralded the opening of the Orient School in Durban but its history goes far back.
