This Term the Poetry Club was very active. We've entered some highly skilled efforts in the Mancosa Poetry Slam. Learners will present their efforts in person as well as compete against other contestants for the coveted title. Mancosa still has to announce a date for this highly anticipated face-off. Learners are also preparing their efforts to be included in a Poetry anthology which will be compiled by the Umlazi District. Last year out of 6 submissions, 4 were chosen to be included in the 2024 Anthology. This year we hope to have even more published poets from the Orient family.
