The Intermediate Phase is a transformative period in a learner’s educational
journey. It is during these years that learners start to take ownership of their learning,
develop independence and refine their skills.
By engaging with both the academic and Islamiaat curriculum, learners in the Intermediate Phase
build a strong foundation for their personal development. They gain confidence, learn to manage
their emotions and begin to recognize their potential as young leaders in their communities.
At Orient Islamic School, we are dedicated to providing an environment where each child can
flourish academically, spiritually and socially. The Intermediate Phase is not only about
excelling in the classroom but also about growing as compassionate, knowledgeable and
responsible individuals. Our carefully structured programme is designed to foster intellectual
growth and nurture moral development.

At our school, we understand that education goes beyond textbooks. We offer a wide range of
EXTRA AND CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES that allow students to discover their
passions and develop important life skills such as leadership, teamwork and time management.
These activities, which enrich their school

Sports: Soccer, Volleyball, Swimming, Table Tennis, Archery, Netball.
Athletics
Arts and Culture: Drama Evening, Speech Contests, Assembly Presentations
Club Activities: Art and Crafts, Nasheed, Maths, Drama
Community Outreach: Programmes at an Orphanage, Charity Boxes and Drives,
Blanket Drives, creating awareness of key projects within the community
Leadership: Prefects, PLRC, HOD Crew, Class monitors, Backstage Crews for
production
The Intermediate Phase at Orient Islamic School, comprises of a wonderful mix of educators -
some who have refined their skills over the years and others who have just entered the
profession bringing with them new energy – all dedicated and committed to nurturing those under
their care, guiding and supporting their educational and spiritual journey so that they are
well-prepared for a bright future both in this world and the Hereafter.



Our learners engage in a vibrant school life with clubs like Debate, Science, Robotics and more.
Our active network includes our board members, Mothers Committee, Parents Committee and more. .
An integral part of our schooling community includes: Prefects, LRC, Peer Promoters, Islamiyaat Head, etc.
