EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND:
I have 40 years of experience in education, including 12 years in management, where I have overseen curriculum development, quality assurance, staff evaluations, and the planning and management of both internal and external examinations. In addition, I have been responsible for compiling the school timetable, appointing new staff, and providing pastoral care to teachers.

Milestone: Appointed as a UMALUSI National External Moderator since 2009, responsible for quality assuring Grade 12 exam papers, verifying SBA marks for Grade 12, and checking the marking done by teachers nationwide.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As principal, I oversee the daily operations of the school, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment. I lead and support staff, manage curriculum implementation, drive academic excellence, foster a positive school culture, and collaborate with parents and the community to support student success.

EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY:
As a principal, I believe in fostering an inclusive, nurturing environment that empowers students to reach their full potential through creativity, critical thinking, and a strong sense of community.

NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENTS/CONTRIBUTIONS:
Awarding full funding for PhD and Med due to excellent Results. Appointed by DHE to design the curriculum statements for Adult qualification known as NASCA. Also compiled the workbook for NASCA qualification. Co-published an article in the Teaching and Learning Journal on changing the name of Maths Literacy to Quantitative Literacy. Wrote an examination guide for grade 12 for New Era Publishers.
